Shift: 2nd; 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday – Friday

Pay: $19.44 - $25.01/hr.

Job Duties for the Machine Operator:  

• Reads blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions and standard charts for such specifications as dimensions, tolerances and tooling instruction, such as type of holding fixtures, cutting speeds, feed rates and cutting tools to be used.
• May operate fork lift truck, hand truck or crane to move, convey, or hoist spring wire from storage area to work area.
• Completes the coiling of springs according to the work order. Inspects springs for proper dimensions and checks for desired length.
• Cleans machines and performs minor maintenance.
• Assists less experienced operators in selection of tooling and operation of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Good stability work history.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, plant rules and policies, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand on concrete for duration of shift.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for a Brake Roll Operator Position located in Mayville, WI.

2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 1:00am Monday - Thursday - OT Mandatory - Can extend work days to 10 hours - Must work every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs

Pay rate: $22.37/HR

NOTE: Must Pass blueprint/measuring test

JOB SUMMARY:

• Perform production work on a variety of press brakes loading and unloading parts and basic inspection to ensure quality of the parts.
• Will not be responsible for machine set up or tear down.
• Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Brake/Roll Operator #2 classification.
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for the quality of the parts produced.
• Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
• Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.

New Hire Incentive Bonus: $1000 in 3 payments ($200 @ 3 mo.s - $400 @ 6 mo.s - $400 @ 12 mo.s)*cant have any disciplines in that quarter Granted the Employee has no writeup in the quarter they would get the following payments: $200 after 3 months $400 after 6 months $400 after 12 months

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physically able to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, lifting, pushing and pulling.
• Must be able to lift and carry, push and pull 30 lbs.
• Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.

• Allen Wrench Machinist Square (12 or 24 inch)
• Tape measure (912Ft)
• Calipers, 8-inch minimum (Dial or Digital)
• Center Punch Scriber
• Ball Peen Hammer
• 15/16-inch Combination Wrench (Punch Press only)
• Protractor (Press Brake only)
• Tool Box for the above tools.
